If your library offers a mobile site, we recommend using the version of the Catalog Link and Patron Account Link that automatically highlights for your library rather than embedding a catalog search box or patron account login box on your library's mobile web site.
The mobile catalog functions differently in some respects from the standard PAC, and Polaris does not fully support the search and patron account login boxes within the mobile catalog. If patrons attempt to sign in using a patron account login box from a mobile device, they will be redirected to the mobile catalog patron account login page and will need to sign in again. If patrons use the catalog search box, they may be directed to the standard catalog rather than the mobile catalog or their highlight/limit selection may not be applied. Using the provided links will help guarantee that patrons are able to search optimally within the mobile catalog.

You can also provide patrons with a link to access the mobile PAC from a non-mobile device (i.e., a PC). The Catalog Link above will direct patrons to the standard PAC if they're on a non-mobile device and will direct patrons to the mobile PAC if they're on a mobile device. If you would like to include a link that takes patrons to the mobile PAC regardless of the device they are on, you can do so by following these instructions:
- The start of the mobile catalog link is:
- Then, add your library's CTX # to the end of resulting URL. (Find your library's CTX #)
As an example, the final link for Allendale would look like this:
