SignUp (Evanced/Demco Software) Calendar: Link

You can choose between linking to the system-wide version of the calendar or a version that highlights for your library's events and uses your library's branding (if your library has defined its branding within the Evanced staff interface).

  1. The basic calendar link is:

    http://bccls.evanced.info/signup/EventCalendar.aspx

If you use this link, the patron will be linked to the system-wide view of the calendar. This version of the calendar link will NOT automatically highlight for your library's events or use your library's branding.

  2. If you would like the link to automatically highlight for your library, add the following to the end of the above URL:

    ?lib=

Then, add your library's CTX # to the end of resulting URL. (Find your library's CTX #)

For example, the link for Allendale would look like this:

    http://bccls.evanced.info/signup/EventCalendar.aspx?lib=5

  3. If you wish, you can also add other parameters to the URL to further limit the events displayed within the calendar. For example, you could limit the events listed in the calendar by age group, event type, etc. Click here for a full list of available parameters.

If you do add additional parameters, they should be added in the format of:

    &parameter=value

As an example, if Allendale chose to link to their view of the calendar and only show events with an Age Group of "Adults" and an Event Type of "Book Club", that final link would look like this:

    http://bccls.evanced.info/signup/EventCalendar.aspx?lib=5&ag=3&et=6
